'Paranoid' is the second studio album by Black Sabbath. The album is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential heavy metal albums of all time, often cited as a key influence for the development of the genre as well as one of its earliest albums. It was ranked number one on Rolling Stone's list of the "100 Greatest Metal Albums Of All Time" in 2017 and number 139 on its The 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time list in 2020. It was the band's only album to top the U.K. Albums Chart until the release of '13' in 2013.

'Last Concert in Japan' is a live album by Deep Purple. It was released in March 1977 in Japan, but not until June 1978 in Europe. Dedicated to Tommy Bolin, it records the last Japanese concert of the Mark IV-lineup that included Bolin on guitar. It achieved gold certification in Japan.

'Van Halen' is the debut studio album by Van Halen. Widely regarded as one of the greatest debut albums in rock music, the album was a major commercial success, peaking at number 19 on the Billboard Top LPs & Tape chart. It has sold more than 10 million copies in the United States, receiving a Diamond certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and making it one of the best-selling albums in the country.

'Dire Straits' is the debut studio album by Dire Straits. The album reached number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and number 8 on the U.K. Singles Chart. It was later certified double platinum in both the United States and the United Kingdom by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) respectively.

'Van Halen II' is the second studio album by Van Halen. It peaked at number six on the U.S. Billboard Top LPs & Tape chart. It had sold almost six million copies in the United States alone.

'Tusk' is the twelfth studio album by the Fleetwood Mac. It is considered more experimental than their previous albums, partly as a consequence of Lindsey Buckingham's sparser songwriting arrangements and the influence of post-punk. The production costs were initially estimated to be about $1 million but many years later were revealed to be about $1.4 million (equivalent to $6.07 million in 2024), making it the most expensive rock album recorded to that date. Compared to 1977's Rumours, which sold ten million copies by February 1978, Tusk was regarded as a commercial failure by the label, selling four million copies.

'Diver Down' is the fifth studio album by Van Halen. It spent 65 weeks on the album chart in the United States and had, by 1998, sold four million copies in the United States. Despite its commercial success, selling faster than its predecessor Fair Warning (1981), it was more lukewarmly received by contemporary music critics.

'Holy Diver' is the debut studio album by Dio. The album was acclaimed by the music press and was the band's most successful effort.

'1984' is the sixth studio album by Van Halen. It was their last album to feature lead singer David Lee Roth, who left the band in 1985 following creative differences, until A Different Kind Of Truth (2012). 1984 and Van Halen's self-titled debut album are the band's best-selling albums, each having sold more than 10 million copies in the United States.

'The Last In Line' is the second studio album by Dio. It is the first Dio album to feature former Rough Cutt keyboardist Claude Schnell. It became the band's highest-charting album in both the U.K. and the U.S., reaching number 4 and number 23, respectively. It was certified gold (500,000 units sold) by the RIAA on September 12, 1984, and was the first Dio album to be certified platinum, achieving the feat on February 3, 1987. In the U.K., it attained Silver certification (60,000 units sold) by the British Phonographic Industry, achieving this in January 1986.

'Crazy From The Heat' is the debut E.P. by David Lee Roth. It was released while Roth was still lead singer for Van Halen, though he parted ways with the band several weeks later and properly launched his solo career. The E.P. is certified platinum by the RIAA, having sold more than one million copies in the United States.

'Brothers In Arms' is the fifth studio album by Dire Straits. It was the first album in history to sell over one million copies in CD format. It spent a total of 14 non-consecutive weeks at number one on the U.K. Albums Chart (including ten consecutive weeks between 18 January and 22 March 1986), nine weeks at number one on the Billboard 200 in the United States and 34 weeks at number one on the Australian Albums Chart. It was the first album to be certified ten-times platinum in the U.K. and is the eighth-best-selling album in U.K. chart history. It is certified nine-times platinum in the United States by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and is one of the world's best-selling albums, having sold more than 30 million copies worldwide.

'5150' (pronounced 'fifty-one-fifty') is the seventh studio album by Van Halen. It was the first of four albums to be recorded with lead singer Sammy Hagar, who replaced David Lee Roth. The album was named after Eddie Van Halen's home studio, 5150, in turn named after a California law enforcement term for a mentally disturbed person (a reference to Section 5150 of the California Welfare and Institutions Code). The album hit number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, surpassing the band's previous album, 1984, which had peaked at number 2 behind Michael Jackson's Thriller album, on which Eddie made a guest appearance.

'OU812' (pronounced 'Oh You Ate One Too') is the eighth studio album by Van Halen. It is the band's second album to feature vocalist Sammy Hagar. Van Halen began work on the album in September 1987 and completed it in April 1988, one month before its release. Like its predecessor 5150 (1986), it hit number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, the second of four consecutive nunber 1 studio albums for the band. The album eventually sold over 4 million copies.

'Nobody's Child, Romanian Angel Appeal' is a charity album released to benefit Romanian orphans, under the auspices of the Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation. It was compiled by English rock musician George Harrison in response to concerns raised by his wife Olivia Harrison, who had visited Romania and witnessed the suffering in the country's abandoned state orphanages following the fall of Communism. Many of the recordings were previously unreleased.

'For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge' (often abbreviated as F.U.C.K.) is the ninth studio album by Van Halen. It was the third Van Halen album to feature vocalist Sammy Hagar. It debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart and maintained the position for three consecutive weeks.

'Live Right Here, Right Now' is the first live album by Van Halen. It was the only live album by Van Halen until the release of Tokyo Dome, Live In Concert in 2015 featuring David Lee Roth and the band's only live album featuring Sammy Hagar until the release of Live In Dallas 1991 in 2024.

'Balance' is the tenth studio album by Van Halen. The album is the last of the band's four studio releases to feature Sammy Hagar as the lead singer. It is also the final Van Halen album to feature bassist Michael Anthony in its entirety. It reached number 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 in February 1995 and reached triple platinum status on May 12, 2004, by selling more than three million copies in the U.S.A. Featuring a more serious tone than other Van Halen albums, Balance features a full integration of Eddie Van Halen's guitar riffs and keyboard work and contains three instrumentals. The record received mixed reviews from many music critics.

'Time' is the sixteenth studio album by Fleetwood Mac. This album features a unique lineup for the band, including the addition of country vocalist Bekka Bramlett (daughter of Delaney And Bonnie) and former Traffic guitarist Dave Mason. It was the second album released after the departure of Lindsey Buckingham in 1987 (although he makes an appearance as a backing vocalist on one track), and the only Fleetwood Mac album since 1974's Heroes Are Hard To Find to not feature any contribution from Stevie Nicks. Additionally, it is the final Fleetwood Mac studio album to feature Christine McVie as an official member. The album received unfavorable reviews from critics and was a commercial disappointment, failing to chart in the U.S. and peaking at number 47 in the U.K. The band disbanded soon after the release, although they reunited a few years later with Nicks and Buckingham for the release of The Dance (1997).

'Van Halen III' is the eleventh studio album by Van Halen. Produced by Mike Post and Eddie Van Halen, it was the band's first studio album in three years after Balance (1995), the band's only studio album to feature vocalist Gary Cherone, and the last to feature bassist and backing vocalist Michael Anthony, who played bass on three of the album's songs; the rest of the bass parts are played by Eddie Van Halen, whose son Wolfgang replaced Anthony on subsequent recordings. Eddie Van Halen's extensive involvement in the album's production, instrumentation and writing have led some, including Anthony, to consider Van Halen III more of a solo project than a collective band effort. Clocking in at over 65 minutes, Van Halen III is their longest album.

'Queen Of The Damned (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)' is the soundtrack to the 2002 vampire film of the same name. It was produced by Richard Gibbs with Jonathan Davis of Korn.

'Live In Hyde Park' is the first live album by Red Hot Chili Peppers. It was recorded in Hyde Park, London, U.K. on June 19, 20 and 25, 2004 during the Roll On The Red Tour. These three concerts set records for the highest-grossing concerts at a single venue in history. The album went to No. 1 in the U.K. and stayed there for two weeks, selling over 120,000 copies.

'Instant Karma, The Amnesty International Campaign To Save Darfur' is a compilation album of various artists covering songs of John Lennon to benefit Amnesty International's campaign to alleviate the crisis in Darfur. The album and campaign is part of Amnesty International's global 'Make Some Noise' project.

'A Cabinet Of Curiosities' is a compilation boxed set by Jane's Addiction. It features demos, rarities, and live tracks from throughout the band's career.

'The Hunting Party' is the sixth studio album by Linkin Park. It is the first album since Meteora (2003) not to be produced with Rick Rubin, who produced the band's previous three studio albums. The album's title is a contextual metaphor: Linkin Park is the party that is hunting to bring back the energy and soul of rock. Stylistically, The Hunting Party is a departure from the electronic rock and experimental sound of the band's previous two studio albums, A Thousand Suns (2010) and Living Things (2012) and marks a return to the band's nu metal sound. The album received generally positive reviews from critics, who praised its return to the heavier rock sound of their older albums. It debuted at number 3 on the US Billboard 200. The album was certified Platinum in United States for the sales of one million copies.

'Tokyo Dome, Live In Concert' is the second live album by Van Halen. It is their first live album with original lead vocalist David Lee Roth and second live album overall after 1993's Live Right Here, Right Now. It is the final Van Halen album released during Eddie Van Halen's lifetime.

'Paranoid [Super Deluxe Edition]' is a reissue by Black Sabbath. It contains the original album remastered, the 1973 quad mix, and two concerts.

'One More Light' is the seventh studio album by Linkin Park. It is the band's final album to feature two of their longtime members: co-lead vocalist Chester Bennington, who died from suicide by hanging two months after the album's release, and drummer and band co-founder Rob Bourdon, who opted to not return for the band's reformation in 2024. Despite the mixed critical reception, the album performed well commercially, debuting at number 1 in several countries; it also became the band's fifth number-one album on the Billboard 200 and was certified Gold in five countries.

'A Fire In The Sky (A Career Spanning Collection)' is a compilation by Deep Purple. It covers the period 1968 to 2013.

'Technical Ecstasy [Super Deluxe Edition]' is a reissue by Black sabbath. It includes the original album remastered, remixes by Steven Wilson, outtakes, and live tracks from the period.

'Holy Diver [Super Deluxe Edition]' is a reissue by Dio. It contains the original album remastered, plus a new mix, a live performance, and some additional extras.

'Made In Japan [50th Anniversary Edition]' is a reissue by Deep Purple. It features the original album remixed by Steven Wilson, plus the complete recordings from all three Japanese concerts.

'Breaking Out Of Heaven (2007-2009)' is a boxed set by the Heaven & Hell line-up of Black Sabbath. It contains the studio album and two live albums released by the band.
