'Down On The Upside' is the fifth studio album by Soundgarden. Self-produced by the band, the music on the album was notably less heavy and dark than the group's preceding albums and featured the band experimenting with new sounds. It was the band's last studio album before breaking up.

'No Code' is the fourth studio album by Pearl Jam. Following a troubled tour for its previous album, 'Vitalogy' (1994), in which Pearl Jam engaged in a much-publicized boycott of Ticketmaster, the band went into the studio to record its follow-up. The music on the record was more diverse than what the band had done on previous releases, incorporating elements of garage rock and worldbeat. Although No Code debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, making it their third consecutive number one album, it left a large section of the band's fanbase unsatisfied and quickly fell down the charts. Critical reviews were also mixed, with praise to the musical variety but criticism to the album's inconsistency. The album became the first Pearl Jam album to not reach multi-platinum status, receiving a single platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in the United States.

'Pure Frosting' is a compilation album by The Presidents Of The United States Of America. It was, at the time, the band's last album, as they had broken up in 1998. They later reunited. The album takes its title from an early name for the band.

'Last Words, The Final Recordings' is the eighth and final studio album by Screaming Trees. The album itself was recorded two years after their album 'Dust' (1996). Shortly after 'Dust' was released, Epic Records decided to drop the band. However, in the years of 1998 and 1999, the band recorded the album in Pearl Jam's guitarist Stone Gossard's studio. Due to the band's break-up in 2000, and Mark Lanegan's refusal to perform with the band, the album wasn't released for twelve years until drummer Barrett Martin released it on his own label, Sunyata Records.

'In The Moment That You're Born' is the sixth and final studio album by Brad. On April 3, 2023, the fourth anniversary of vocalist Shawn Smith's passing, Brad announced their final album, featuring the songs they were working on with Smith in 2019 when he died, would be released.
