Information

The Record Plant is recording studio located in Midtown Manhattan, New York. The studio was co-founded by Gary Kellgren and Chris Stone in April 1968, and closed in 1987. The first sessions at the studio were for The Jimi Hendrix Experience recording Electric Ladyland. The Record Plant was the first studio designed to provide the musicians with a comfortable, casual environment for recording. Later, two more locations were opened, Record Plant, Los Angeles and Record Plant, Sausalito.

'Loose Ends' is a posthumous compilation album by Jimi Hendrix. It was the fourth and last Hendrix studio album released posthumously by manager Michael Jeffery. The album features a collection of outtakes and jams, with the exception of 'The Stars That Play with Laughing Sam's Dice' which is the sole authorised track by Hendrix, in a new stereo mix by Eddie Kramer.
