'Squawk' is the second studio album by Budgie. The album was certified Gold in the U.K. in 1973. The cover art is by Roger Dean.

'Never Turn Your Back On A Friend' is the third studio album by Budgie. This was drummer Ray Phillips' final appearance with the band. The album shows the band continuing the successful heavy metal formula of their previous album Squawk (1972). Roger Dean created the artwork for the album.

'In For The Kill!' is the fourth studio album by Budgie. The song 'Crash Course In Brain Surgery' was originally released in 1971 as a single, and was re-recorded for the album. It was covered by Metallica in 1987, while the album's title track was covered by Van Halen during the group's club days.

'Sheer Heart Attack' is the third studio album by Queen. Digressing from the progressive themes featured on their first two albums, the album featured more pop-centric and conventional rock tracks and marked a step towards the classic Queen sound.

'The Principle Of Moments' is the second solo studio album by Robert Plant, formerly of Led Zeppelin. It was Plant's second Top 10 album in the U.S. and U.K. Like his debut solo studio album, 'Pictures At Eleven' (1982), the songs departed from the hard rock sound of Led Zeppelin. Following the strength of these albums, Plant launched a successful tour in 1983.

'Di'Anno' is the debut studio album of the band of the same name. The lead singer Paul Di'Anno had been the frontman of Iron Maiden for three years, before being dismissed for his erratic behaviour. The band bearing his name and playing very commercial heavy rock was his first and short-lived solo project. Unlike his work with Iron Maiden, the album has a more Americanized sound similar to bands like Journey and Foreigner. The album reached only No. 105 on the U.K. Albums Chart and the band disbanded at the conclusion of the short tour supporting the release.

'Royal Blood' is the debut studio album by Royal Blood. The album was well received by music critics. It was nominated for the 2014 Mercury Prize for best album. It has been a commercial success, debuting at number one on the U.K. Albums Chart and being verified by the Official Charts Company as the fastest-selling British rock debut album in the U.K. in three years.

'Anno Domini (1989-1995)' is a boxed set by British heavy metal band Black Sabbath. It includes four of the five albums released in the 1987-1997 Tony Martin-era of the band, with 'Headless Cross' (1989), 'Tyr' (1990) and 'Cross Purposes' (1994) all remastered, and 'Forbidden' (1995) remixed by guitarist Tony Iommi, making this the first time those albums have been reissued.

'Songs Of A Lost World' is the fourteenth studio album by The Cure. It is the band's first release of new material in 16 years since the release of 4:13 Dream in 2008. All the songs on the album were composed solely by singer/guitarist Robert Smith, for the first time since the 1985 album The Head On The Door. Upon release, the album received critical acclaim, with particular praise for the lyrics, dark sound, and Smith's vocals. It was also a commercial success, being their first album since Wish (1992) to reach number one in the U.K., and was also one of the fastest selling albums of 2024, having at one point outsold the entire top 10 of the week combined. It also reached number one in Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland.

'The Last Will And Testament' is the fourteenth studio album by Opeth. The album is a concept album set in the post-World War I era, unfolding the story of a wealthy, conservative patriarch (who is infertile) whose last will and testament reveals shocking family secrets. It was originally set to be released on October 11, 2024, but was later pushed back to November 22, 2024 due to manufacturing delays. It is the band's first release with drummer Waltteri Vayrynen, who in 2022 officially replaced Martin Axenrot after his departure the year before. It also marks the return of death metal elements such as death growls since Watershed (2008), as well as being their first fully conceptual album since Still Life (1999).
