'Fear Of A Blank Planet' is the ninth studio album by Porcupine Tree. Steven Wilson has mentioned that the album's title is a direct reference to the 1990 Public Enemy album Fear Of A Black Planet; while the former tackled race issues, the latter is about the fear of losing the current generation of youth to various common threats to their mental and social wellbeing, including broken homes, excessive screen time, and narcotic overuse (prescribed and otherwise) to the point of mental and spiritual blankness. The album charted in almost all European countries and entered the U.S. Billboard 200 at #59. The album was highly acclaimed by critics and was awarded 'Album Of The Year' by Classic Rock magazine in 2007.

'Luck And Strange' is the fifth studio album by David Gilmour. It was produced by Gilmour and Charlie Andrew. Gilmour said Andrew challenged him musically and was not intimidated by his past work with Pink Floyd.

'The Last Will And Testament' is the fourteenth studio album by Opeth. The album is a concept album set in the post-World War I era, unfolding the story of a wealthy, conservative patriarch (who is infertile) whose last will and testament reveals shocking family secrets. It was originally set to be released on October 11, 2024, but was later pushed back to November 22, 2024 due to manufacturing delays. It is the band's first release with drummer Waltteri Vayrynen, who in 2022 officially replaced Martin Axenrot after his departure the year before. It also marks the return of death metal elements such as death growls since Watershed (2008), as well as being their first fully conceptual album since Still Life (1999).
