'Fleetwood Mac' is the tenth studio album by Fleetwood Mac. It is the band's second eponymous album, the first being their 1968 debut album, and is sometimes referred to by fans as The White Album. It is the first Fleetwood Mac album with Lindsey Buckingham as guitarist and Stevie Nicks as a vocalist, after Bob Welch departed the band in late 1974. It is also the band's last album to be released on the Reprise label until 1997's The Dance. The album peaked at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart on 4 September 1976, 58 weeks after entering the chart, and spawned three top-twenty singles. It has been certified 7? platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for sales of over seven million copies in the United States. Peaking at number 23 on the U.K. Albums Chart, it was the start of a run of hugely successful albums for the band in Britain, with six number ones, Fleetwood Mac being followed by Rumours (1977), Tusk (1979), Mirage (1982), Tango In The Night (1987), and Behind The Mask (1990).

'Nevermind' is the second studio album by Nirvana. It was their first release on a major label and the first to feature drummer Dave Grohl. Produced by Butch Vig, it features a more polished, radio-friendly sound than the band's prior work. It was recorded at Sound City Studios in Van Nuys, California, and Smart Studios in Madison, Wisconsin, in May and June 1991, and mastered that August at the Mastering Lab in Hollywood, California. The album became an unexpected critical and commercial success, reaching the top 10 on charts across the world. On January 11, 1992, it knocked Michael Jackson's 'Dangerous' out of the number one spot on the U.S. Billboard 200 and was selling approximately 300,000 copies a week. The album also garnered the band three Grammy Award nominations in total across the 34th and 35th Grammy Awards, including Best Alternative Music Album.
