Vegard Sverre Tveitan (born 10 October 1975), better known by his stage name Ihsahn, is a Norwegian musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, and composer who is best known for his work with the black metal band Emperor. He is also a founding member of Thou Shalt Suffer, where he played guitar and keyboard in addition to vocal duties, and Peccatum, a project in collaboration with his wife and fellow musician Heidi Solberg Tveitan, also known as Starofash. Beyond the characteristics typically associated with metal music, Tveitan's musical style also includes classical, industrial, and progressive elements. He is a progenitor of the symphonic black metal genre.

Creedence Clearwater Revival was an American rock band formed in El Cerrito, California. These members had played together since 1959, first as The Blue Velvets and later as The Golliwogs, before settling on Creedence Clearwater Revival in 1967. The band's most prolific and successful period between 1969 and 1971 produced fourteen consecutive Top 10 singles (many of which were double A-sides) and five consecutive Top 10 albums in the United States - two of which, 'Green River' (1969) and 'Cosmo's Factory' (1970), reached number one. The band performed at the 1969 Woodstock festival in Upstate New York, and was the first major act signed to appear there. CCR disbanded acrimoniously in late 1972 after four years of chart-topping success.

Death Angel is an American thrash metal band from Daly City, California, initially active from 1982 to 1991 and again since 2001. Death Angel is often referred to as one of the key bands in the Bay Area thrash metal movement of the 1980s, and secured opening slots at club venues that decade, including opening for their peers Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer, Exodus, Testament, Overkill, D.R.I., Mercyful Fate and Possessed. They are also often credited as one of the leaders of the second wave of thrash metal movement from the 1980s, and considered to be one of the "big eight" of the genre (along with Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Testament, Exodus and Overkill), as well as one of the so-called "Big Six of Bay Area thrash metal" (alongside Exodus, Testament, L??z Rockit, Forbidden and Vio-lence).

'Khaos Legions' is the ninth studio album by Arch Enemy. The record marks a return to new, original material, after the previous album, The Root Of All Evil (2009), consisted of a selection of re-recorded songs from the band's back catalog. This would be the band's last album with founding member and guitarist Christopher Amott before he parted ways with the band for the second time in March 2012 to be replaced by former Arsis guitarist Nick Cordle. It is also the last album with singer Angela Gossow before she stepped down as vocalist in March 2014 to be succeeded by the Agonist singer Alissa White-Gluz, and Gossow switched to be the band's business manager. Khaos Legions debuted at number 78 on the Billboard 200, selling around 6,000 copies, making it the band's highest-charting effort at the time.
