Maynard James Keenan (born James Herbert Keenan; April 17, 1964) is an American singer, songwriter, philanthropist, record producer, and winemaker. He is best known as the singer and primary lyricist of the rock bands Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer. Having grown up in Ohio and Michigan, Keenan joined the U.S. Army after graduating from high school. After his service, he attended the Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He relocated to Los Angeles in 1988 to pursue a career in interior design and set construction, and formed Tool with Adam Jones shortly thereafter. In addition to his music career, Keenan owns Merkin Vineyards and Caduceus Cellars in Arizona, where he resides. Since rising to fame, he has been noted as a recluse, although he does emerge to support charitable causes and for the occasional interview. He has also ventured into acting.

'Blight Privilege' is the eigth studio album by Nachtmystium.

Nachtmystium is an American psychedelic black metal band formed by Blake Judd, formerly known as Azentrius, and Pat McCormick. The band's name is derived from the German word Nacht meaning "night", and the made-up term mystium which resembles the Latin adjective mysticum. Judd and McCormick combined the words to create the band's name, which they state means "Encompassing Darkness". Controversy marred the band's success when in 2013 Judd was arrested for theft charges and publicly admitted he had a severe drug problem. Nachtmystium went on a four-year hiatus until 2017, when Judd reformed the band to record new studio material and perform at four concerts. Judd disbanded Nachtmystium in 2020, but restarted the project in 2024 to release a new album.

'Songs Of A Lost World' is the fourteenth studio album by The Cure. It is the band's first release of new material in 16 years since the release of 4:13 Dream in 2008. Upon release, the album received critical acclaim, with particular praise for the lyrics, dark sound, and Smith's vocals. The Cure are an English alternative rock band formed in 1978 in Crawley, West Sussex. Several early singles placed the band at the forefront of the emerging post-punk and new wave movements that had sprung up in the United Kingdom. Beginning with their second album, the band adopted a new, increasingly dark and tormented style, which, together with vocalist Robert Smith's stage look, had a strong influence on the emerging genre of gothic rock as well as the subculture that eventually formed around the genre. The have sold over 30 million albums worldwide, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2019.

'Jeff Wayne's Musical Version Of The War Of The Worlds (The New Generation)' is a re-working of the 1978 concept album by Jeff Wayne, retelling the story of the 1898 novel The War Of The Worlds by H. G. Wells. As previously, the music format is predominantly progressive rock and string orchestra, but with synthesizers playing a more prominent role. The music is intermixed with re-voiced narration and leitmotifs to carry the story forward via rhyming melodic lyrics that express the feelings of the various characters. Due to the consistent popularity of the original album, Wayne decided to return to his score and re-create it for a new generation of audiences, as well as re-launch a live tour throughout the United Kingdom and Europe. The album also replaces several guest singers from the original album. Liam Neeson replaced Richard Burton as the Journalist, Gary Barlow replaced Justin Hayward as the Sung Thoughts of the Journalist, Ricky Wilson replaced David Essex as the Artilleryman, Alex Clare replaced Chris Thompson as The Voice of Humanity, Maverick Sabre replaced Phil Lynott as Parson Nathaniel, and Joss Stone replaced Julie Covington as Beth. However, Jerry Wayne's pre-recorded dialogue on Epilogue, Pt. 2 (NASA) were kept from the original.

Jeffry Wayne (born 1 July 1943) is an American composer, musician and lyricist. In 1978, he released Jeff Wayne's Musical Version Of The War of the Worlds, his musical adaptation of H. G. Wells' science-fiction novel The War Of The Worlds. Wayne wrote approximately 3,000 advertising jingles in the 1970s which appeared on television in the United Kingdom, including a Gordon's Gin commercial which was covered by the Human League. Wayne also composed numerous television themes, including Good Morning Britain (TV-am), ITV's The Big Match and World Of Sport, and the BBC's Sixty Minutes.

Megadeth is an American thrash metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1983 by vocalist/guitarist Dave Mustaine. Known for their technically complex guitar work and musicianship, Megadeth is one of the "big four" of American thrash metal along with Metallica, Anthrax, and Slayer, responsible for the genre's development and popularization. Their music features complex arrangements and fast rhythm sections, dual lead guitars, and lyrical themes of war, politics, religion, death, and personal relationships. In 1985, Megadeth released their debut album, 'Killing Is My Business... And Business Is Good!', on the independent record label Combat Records, to moderate success. It caught the attention of bigger labels, which led to Megadeth signing with Capitol Records. Their first major-label album, 'Peace Sells... But Who's Buying?', was released in 1986 and was a major hit with the underground metal scene. Band members' substance abuse issues and personal disputes had brought Megadeth negative publicity during the late 1980s. Nonetheless, the band went on to release a number of platinum-selling albums, including 'So Far, So Good... So What!' (1988), 'Rust In Peace' (1990), and 'Countdown To Extinction' (1992). Megadeth has undergone multiple lineup changes throughout its 41-year career, with Mustaine being the sole consistent member of the band. The band temporarily disbanded in 2002 when he suffered an arm injury and re-established in 2004 without longtime bassist David Ellefson, who had taken legal action against Mustaine. Ellefson settled out of court and rejoined the band in 2010, but was fired in 2021 amid allegations of sexual misconduct.

'Jar Of Kingdom' is the debut album by Alchemist. The band recorded the album after receiving a record contract in the mail from Austrian label Lethal Records and was released by that company in October 1993. During the recording of the first track 'Abstraction', vocalist Adam Agius damaged his voice, thus resulting in the raw vocal sound on the rest of the album. The words "Jar of Kingdom" was inspired by a comment by television personality and entertainer Graham Kennedy during a comedy skit, in which he described a vial of pig semen as a "jar of kingdom".
