'We Take No Prisoners (The Singles 1995-2006)' is a compilation by Motorhead. It features tracks from singles released between 1995 and 2006, and an interview from 2004.

Motorhead were an English hard rock band formed in 1975 by bassist and lead vocalist Ian 'Lemmy' Kilmister, guitarist Larry Wallis and drummer Lucas Fox. Lemmy was also the primary songwriter and only constant member. The band are often considered a precursor to the new wave of British heavy metal (NWOBHM), which re-energised heavy metal in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Though several guitarists and drummers have played in Motorhead, most of their best-selling releases feature drummer Phil 'Philthy Animal' Taylor and guitarist 'Fast' Eddie Clarke. Lemmy died on 28 December 2015 from cardiac arrhythmia and congestive heart failure, after being diagnosed with prostate cancer. The day after his death, drummer Mikkey Dee and guitarist Phil Campbell both confirmed that Motorhead had disbanded.

Neil Percival Young (born November 12, 1945) is a Canadian singer and songwriter. After embarking on a music career in Winnipeg in the 1960s, Young moved to Los Angeles, joining the folk-rock group Buffalo Springfield. He then began his solo career, often with backing by the band Crazy Horse, and was also a part-time member of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. He is on Rolling Stone's list of 'The 100 Greatest Musical Artists'. 21 of his albums and singles have been certified Gold and Platinum in U.S. by RIAA certification.

Bassist Jerry Only, after years of litigation, reached a settlement with Danzig and was granted the rights to use the band's name and image to record and perform. The album also marked the addition of singer Michale Graves and Dr. Chud on drums. Originally, the album was going to be titled Dead Kings Rise, a play on the band's resurrection, but was changed when the title track did not make the album.

By contrast, the Stones' next concert was performed a few nights later at Wembley Stadium for about 70,000 fans. The show was part of the band's No Security Tour. The opening act was Sheryl Crow, who performs with the Stones on the song 'Honky Tonk Women'.

'The Beatles' (also referred to colloquially as The White Album) is the ninth studio album and only double album by The Beatles. Featuring a plain white sleeve, the cover contains no graphics or text other than the band's name embossed This was intended as a direct contrast to the vivid cover artwork of the band's previous L.P., Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967). The Beatles is recognised for its fragmentary style and diverse range of genres, including folk, country rock, British blues, ska, music hall, proto-metal and the avant-garde. It has since been viewed by some critics as a postmodern work, as well as one of the greatest albums of all time. The album was the band's first L.P. release on their then-recently founded Apple Records after previous albums were released on Parlophone in the United Kingdom and Capitol Records in the United States.
