'The Blackening' is the sixth studio album by Machine Head. The Blackening sold 16,000 units in its first week, and became Machine Head's third highest charting release at number 54 on the Billboard 200, and charted in the Top 20 throughout many countries in the rest of the world. The Blackening has been certified gold by the BPI for sales in the U.K. in excess of 100,000 copies.
Machine Head is an American heavy metal band from Oakland, California, U.S.A. The band was formed in 1991 by vocalist/rhythm guitarist Robb Flynn, who remains the only original member of the band. Machine Head's aggressive musicianship made it one of the pioneering bands in the new wave of American heavy metal. Having experimented with elements of groove metal and nu metal in its early releases, Machine Head changed to a more traditional thrash metal sound and longer songs with its sixth album, The Blackening (2007), which drew critical acclaim and was chosen as Album of the Decade by Metal Hammer in 2010. As of 2013, the band has sold over three million records worldwide.

His career, both as a solo performer and as the lead vocalist with the rock band Cold Chisel, has made him one of the most popular and best-selling Australian music artists of all time. He has achieved 15 solo number-one albums in Australia, more than any other artist. Additionally, he achieved five more as the lead singer of Cold Chisel, bringing his combined sum to 20 number-one albums in Australia, comfortably eclipsing The Beatles (with 14), Madonna and Taylor Swift (12), Eminem and U2 (11).

'Dio's Inferno, The Last In Live' is a live album by Dio. It was recorded on their Angry Machines tour in 1996/97.
Dio was an American heavy metal band formed in 1982 and led by vocalist Ronnie James Dio after he left Black Sabbath with intentions to form a new band with fellow former Black Sabbath drummer Vinny Appice. The band released 10 studio albums and had numerous lineup changes over the years, with Dio himself being the only constant member. Guitarists included Vivian Campbell, Craig Goldy, Doug Aldrich, Warren DeMartini, Tracy G, Jake E. Lee and Rowan Robertson. The band dissolved in 2010 when Ronnie James Dio died of stomach cancer at the age of 67. Thge band has sold has sold over 5 million records worldwide.
