'Lonesome Crow' is the debut studio album by Scorpions. It was recorded soon after Scorpions became a fully professional band under the production of Conny Plank, apparently in only six or seven days, and released in West Germany as the soundtrack to the German anti-drug movie Das Kalte Paradies. The album's style is darkly melodic, typical for early Scorpions but unlike their later work. |

'In Trance' is the third studio album by Scorpions. The music was a departure from the progressive rock of the two previous albums. Instead, the album has a hard rock sound of shorter and tighter arrangements with which the band would achieve their global success and fame. This was the first of two studio albums to feature drummer Rudy Lenners, and the first album by the band to contain the now-famous logo and controversial artwork. |

'Virgin Killer' is the fourth studio album by Scorpions. It was the band's first album to attract attention outside Europe. The title is described as being a reference to time as the killer of innocence. The original cover featured a nude prepubescent girl, which stirred controversy in the United Kingdom, the United States, and elsewhere. As a result, the album was re-issued with a different cover in some countries. |

'Lovedrive' is the sixth studio album by Scorpions. Considered by some critics to be the pinnacle of their career, it was a major evolution of the band's sound, exhibiting their "classic style" that would be later developed over their next few albums, cementing the "Scorpions formula" of hard rock songs combined with melodic ballads. It proved to be a major commercial breakthrough, reaching No. 55 on the U.S. Billboard Top 200, which none of their previous five albums had dented at all. The RIAA certified the record as Gold on 28 May 1986, and the album also proved a breakthrough in the United Kingdom where it was the first Scorpions album to chart and peaked at No. 36. |

It became the band's only album to reach number one in their home country of Germany. In the U.K., it remains the only Scorpions album to attain Silver certification (60,000 units sold) by the British Phonographic Industry, achieving this in November 1991. In the United States, it is the band's second best-selling album to 1984's 'Love At First Sting', and their last one to be certified at least gold by the RIAA. This album was the band's first album in a decade and a half to not be produced by Dieter Dierks. |

'Ronnie James Dio, This Is Your Life' is a tribute album to Ronnie James Dio. The album features many of Dio's contemporaries performing songs originally recorded by Dio, Black Sabbath, and Rainbow. Dio died in 2010 from stomach cancer, and album proceeds were targeted for Dio's Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund. |
