Sub Pop is a record label founded in 1986 by Bruce Pavitt and Jonathan Poneman. Sub Pop achieved fame in the early 1990s for signing Seattle bands such as Nirvana, Soundgarden, and Mudhoney, central players in the grunge movement. They are often credited with helping popularize grunge music. |

Screaming Trees

'Change Has Come' is the second E.P. by Screaming Trees. It was the only recording the band released through Sub Pop. After its 1990 release, the band moved on to a major label, Epic Records, for their next three albums. The cover art was photographed by Charles Peterson. Drummer Mark Pickerel described the E.P. as 'our best recorded moment'.

The cover was an altered photo, the original of which was found in a photo album purchased from a thrift store. Rolling Stone magazine ranked this album 31st on their list of the '50 Greatest Grunge Albums'.
