The L.A. ForumVenue |
The Kia Forum (formerly The Forum) is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Inglewood, California, United States, adjacent to Los Angeles. The Forum opened on December 30, 1967. Architect Charles Luckman's vision was realized by engineers Carl Johnson and Svend Nielsen. It was a groundbreaking structure without extensive internal support pillars that was unique in an indoor arena the size of The Forum. The Forum has previously been known as The Great Western Forum. It is also known informally as the L.A. Forum to distinguish it from other places with the name "Forum". In 2022 automotive company Kia acquired the naming rights, and it is currently known as Kia Forum. |

Nirvana
'From The Muddy Banks Of The Wishkah' is the second live album by Nirvana. It features live performances recorded at various locations from 1989 to 1994. Compiled largely by bassist Krist Novoselic, it was released two years after the multi-platinum-selling live album, 'MTV Unplugged In New York' (1994), which was the first Nirvana album to be released after the suicide of the band's songwriter, singer and guitarist, Kurt Cobain, in April 1994. The album was intended to show the band's heavier side, in contrast to the acoustic MTV Unplugged album.
