Force Majeure
[Album]

1 February 1989

'Force Majeure' is the debut solo studio album by Doro, since she disbanded Warlock in 1988. The first print of the L.P. was issued with a sticker on the cover near Doro's name with "+ Warlock" written on, so for some fans the album should still be considered as the last album by Warlock.

25 September 1990

'Doro' is the second solo album by Doro. Doro chose for herself a new musical direction, consciously separating the music creative process from normal band dynamics, the contrary of what she had always done in the past with Warlock. The album production was put in the hands of KISS bassist Gene Simmons, Doro's childhood idol. The resulting sound is much smoother and polished than any Warlock album, in the vein of many American glam metal recordings of the time, and the lyrics give up completely the gothic atmosphere present in the offerings of Doro Pesch's previous band. Despite the commercial appeal of the music and the high economic effort in producing it, the album did not have the critical and sales success that was expected and remained the last studio album by Doro published in the United States for ten years.

4 August 1991

'True At Heart' is the third solo album by Doro Pesch. It is another exploration into new musical territory. Barry Beckett, a famous and seasoned mainstream music producer, was chosen to produce the album and a large number of authors and musicians living and working in Nashville, the recording haven of country music, participated in the recording sessions. The result is an album with many ballads, few uptempo songs and a pronounced blues influence.
