Roberto Agustin Miguel Santiago Samuel Trujillo Veracruz (born October 23, 1964) is an American musician who has been the bassist for heavy metal band Metallica since 2003. He first rose to prominence as the bassist of crossover thrash band Suicidal Tendencies from 1989 to 1995, while also collaborating with Suicidal Tendencies frontman Mike Muir for funk metal supergroup Infectious Grooves. After leaving Suicidal Tendencies, he performed with Ozzy Osbourne, Jerry Cantrell, and heavy metal band Black Label Society. |

'Down To Earth' is the eighth studio album by Ozzy Osbourne. RIt reached number 19 on the U.K. Albums Chart and number four on the U.S. Billboard 200. Excluding his contributions to re-recordings of Ozzy's earlier material, it is the only Osbourne studio album to feature bassist Robert Trujillo, who left to join Metallica in 2003. It was the first Osbourne album to feature drummer Mike Bordin, previously of Faith No More, though he had played live with Osbourne since 1996, as well as the last to feature guitarist Zakk Wylde until 2007's 'Black Rain'.

'Ronnie James Dio, This Is Your Life' is a tribute album to Ronnie James Dio. The album features many of Dio's contemporaries performing songs originally recorded by Dio, Black Sabbath, and Rainbow. Tenacious D won the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance at the 57th Grammy Awards for their cover of "The Last In Line", and Anthrax were nominated in the same category for their cover of "Neon Knights". Dio died in 2010 from stomach cancer, and album proceeds were targeted for Dio's Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund.
