Andy Wallace (born 1947) is an American record producer and audio and mixing engineer with a long track record of productions. Over the years, he focused exclusively on mixing.

Dale Crover

Grunge Rock

Dale Crover (born October 23, 1967) is an American rock musician. Crover is best known as the drummer for Melvins and has also been the drummer for Men Of Porn, Shrinebuilder, Crystal Fairy and, for a brief time, Nirvana. He is also guitarist and vocalist for Altamont. He has toured with Fantomas (filling in for Dave Lombardo), Off!, and Redd Kross. In 2016, Rolling Stone listed him as the 69th greatest drummer of all time.

Jim Martin

Alternative Rock

James Blanco Martin (born July 21, 1961) is an American guitarist who played with the rock band Faith No More from 1983 to late 1993. In the early 1980s, he played guitar in the thrash metal band Vicious Hatred.

'Mangled Demos From 1983' is a compilation by Melvins. It is a collection of various recordings from the earliest incarnation of the band first recorded in 1983. It is the only record featuring the original lineup (guitarist/vocalist Buzz Osborne, bassist Matt Lukin, drummer Mike Dillard). Tracks 3-13 were recorded by Michael Diamond at Sound Art Studio by Mud Bay, a suburb of Olympia, Washington, for possible album release. Ultimately the album was not released at the time, as no record label was interested in the Melvins until 1985.

It received generally mixed reviews from critics and fared poorly commercially, with the album only reaching number 28 on the U.S. Billboard 200 albums chart and going on to sell 217,000 copies in the United States by October 1996. Hoon's death from a fatal drug overdose two months after the album's release resulted in the album's promotion being abruptly cut off, further affecting sales.
