Pencil and paper

Pencil & paper are critical for a player in the Dungeons & Dragons game. Even if you have a computer in front of you for looking as rule books and character sheets, you will probably still need pencil & paper - as it is the still easiest way to take quick notes, or quickly draw a picture or map.
