One On One Studios is a Recording studio in North Hollywood, California originally owned by Jim David. Bought by Yoshiki in 1993, later became Extasy Recording Studios. From 2012-2019 it was known as 17 Hertz Studio. One On One Recording re-opened January 2023. |

It was the first Metallica album to feature bassist Jason Newsted, following the death of their previous bassist Cliff Burton in 1986.
